I have since tried fitting a new brake switch with no luck. Ciggy lighter not working - 90% of the time its the fuse F68 - 15A if memory serves, 9% of the time its the socket itself in need of changing & the final 1% is a wiring fault somewhere ( was at the fusebox connection plug on the one car i have seen the wiring problem on ) derv models Powertrain Control Module. My local garage flagged up a PCM fault recently, its quite intermittent but apparently was a problem with the MK3 Mondeo some years ago. My understanding is that MkIV injectors do not need reprogramming or coding in as in MkIII. There are no code labels on any of the injectors I've seen, so it would be impossible if needed, anyway.
