AC1: you're captured by the bad guys and they need what is in your head to get what they want. Queue the animus and the whole adventure. Animus can mess you up though, so you have to take frequent breaks. During these breaks you can learn a bit about the world and kind of get invested. They happen at expected moments, and are frequent enough Cutscenes are stupid heavy for one reason or another, it will lag no matter what. Some of them are also straight locked to 30 fps, theres not much you can do, you gonna notice the game come from your 60fps or whatever refresh rate down to 30 and see the slowdown straight away. No solution that i ever seen. Make sure that you have run the program on both .exe files (at least that is what I did) and hopefully it should run fine. Go into the Menu -> Progression Log -> down to Progress Tracker -> select Story/Associate Activities/London Stories tab.
